Once you have filled out the registration form, completed the reCAPTCHA verification process, and accepted the terms and conditions, you should click on the "Register" button to create your account. After clicking the button, the website will process the user's information and verify that all required fields have been filled out correctly.

After you submit the registration form, If everything checks out, you should receive an email from the NI developer portal with an activation link. In case you did not receive the activation email click on the re-send email link.

When you receive the activation email, click on the activation link provided in the email to verify your email address and activate your account. This step is important because it confirms that you have access to the email address that you provided during registration.

After you have successfully activated your account, you should be able to log in to the NI developer portal using the username and password you provided during registration. Once you are logged in, you should be able to access the various developer resources and tools that are available on the portal.

The API product page will list all of the available API services. You should review these services to identify the ones that align with the functionality and requirements of your application. This may involve reviewing the service descriptions, use cases, and other relevant information provided on the product page

After reviewing the technical documentation, you should click on the "Try Out" button to test the API. It will open the console window where you can submit sandbox API requests to test the functionality and performance of the selected services in a simulated environment. This will allow you to evaluate the performance and suitability of the APIs for your application, without impacting live data or transactions.

To create and obtain API keys, you need to log in to your developer account on the NI API developer portal. From the main menu, click on "My Apps". The My Apps page is where you can manage your NI API applications. To create a new NI Developer Application, click on the "+ Create App" button on the My Apps page.

In the Create App window, provide a unique name for your app. The app name should be descriptive and easily identifiable. Select the API products that you wish to associate with your app. The API products that you select will determine which NI APIs your app can access. Once you have provided all the required information, click on the "Create App" button to complete the process.

The API Services page is the landing page for the developer portal, where all available APIs are listed. From the API Services page, explore the APIs based on API Categories or Products. Select the categories, products, or All APIs page that contains the API you wish to test.

After locating the API you wish to test, click on the "Try Out" button. The Try out button is located on each API page, and it enables you to use the Try out Console to test the API.
