Overview
Card Direct Debit Update enables businesses to manage and update direct debit instructions associated with debit cards. This API facilitates the updating, modification, or cancellation of recurring payment mandates established by cardholders for automated transactions.
This API simplifies the management of recurring payments associated with debit cards, providing businesses with the tools they need to efficiently handle direct debit mandates and enhance the customer payment experience. By leveraging this API, businesses can reduce administrative overhead, mitigate payment-related risks, and ensure seamless transaction processing for their customers.
How It Works
The Direct Debit Update API will transmit the account identifier along with the details of the direct debit parameters. These values will replace the existing values stored in the NI system, and the changes will take effect starting from the next direct debit request.
